Bumwear Store Policy


Please know that we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you want to exchange the products bought directly from Bumwear for any reason, please follow these policies. We are a small WAHM (Work-at-Home-Mother) company and need to stick to these policies to keep our overheads down. Please read these policies carefully - we want to ensure that your buying experience is as pleasant as what you had hoped for. Do note that we only will do exchanges and not cash refunds. Do note that you will need to produce an original Bumwear receipt/invoice to be able to make exchanges or claim on our warranty. We reserve the right to reject request for exchanges when no valid receipt is presented.

OUR GUARANTEE

All products are guaranteed against material or workmanship defects for 90 days from the date of purchase (or the birth of your baby, for who purchase the diapers before giving birth). This covers stitching and seams, elastics, or if any of the product’s components come undone or unattached.

Repelling issues are not considered a manufacturing defects. They are mainly caused by detergents used in laundering the diapers. Do drop us an email if you need help with repelling problems.

Diapers are typically washed every couple of days. Like any frequently washed item they will eventually wear out. While we make our diapers as durable as possible, we cannot guarantee that they will last through more than one child if you do not have sufficient quantities of diapers. It is likely that they will last through multiple children if washing instructions are followed and diapers are used in a good sized rotation.Typically, the more diapers you have, the less often each one is washed, therefore the longer they normally last.

MANUFACTURING DEFECTS

For defective products, we will first attempt to repair the products. If the products cannot be repaired we will then exchange or replace the defective products with an exact same product, color and size. If you believe you received a product with a manufacturing defect, please send us an email to inform us of the defect. Please be prepared to send in the product to us at your expense so that we can correct the problem for you. Leaking problems are generally not considered a manufacturing defect. Do include the original proof of purchase when you are claiming on the Bumwear warranty.

Please note that while we try to make diapers that are durable, as with any item of clothing that gets used and washed frequently, they will not last forever. We are not responsible for damage to an item caused by normal fading or normal "wear and tear" of the product materials or improper care, abuse or misuse,

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange non-defective products, please return them to us in an unused (other than being tried on), unwashed and in a re-sellable condition. Items must have been purchased within the last 30 days and accompanied by the original packing slip or any proof of purchase from the Bumwear.com website or from our retail store @ United Square. Kindly note that we do not do refunds,

If you had bought the items at our roadshows where we normally include in some freebies, - all free items must be included with your return or we will deduct the value of these free items from your exchange value. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer.

The following items are "not returnable", and will not be allowed to be exchanged as they are considered used goods: laundered or soiled items; items smelling of perfume/detergent/cigarette smoke or any other odors & items with pet hair or dirt/stains. Soiled or items deemed ‘non-returnable’ can be returned to
you at your expense.
